Welcome to the first issue of the Beacon Newsletter!

Based on valuable feedback from our community, we've decided to launch this newsletter to ensure all of our members and their families stay informed about the latest happenings at Cove Ridge Marina. Our existing software, primarily used for invoicing and specific member issues related to boats and RVs, often limits communication to one person per household. With the Beacon Newsletter, we aim to bridge that gap and provide general marina updates and announcements to everyone in the Cove Ridge community.

We hope this newsletter serves as a valuable resource for all our members. We are excited to enhance our communication and keep everyone in the loop.

Upcoming Events:

Half Mile Down: Join us from 6PM - 9PM on Saturday, June 8th for the next concert in our Summer Concert Series as local band Half Mile Down takes the stage.

Marina Improvements:

Gate Repairs: We are working with a local gate company to repair and install a new gate system that will be used at the main entrance.

Restroom Improvements: We have completed renovations on one of the restrooms and are working on upgrading the other. In addition, we have placed an order for 2 new restroom trailers that are currently being built. Those trailers should be delivered sometime in late July or early August.

Dock House Restaurant:

Updated Hours: Based on demand and general traffic on the lake we continue to optimize operations at Dock House. This helps us control cost and still offer the quality food and service that you expect. This weekend the Dock House will be open Friday 12PM - 8PM. Saturday 9AM - 8PM, and Sunday 10AM - 6PM.

Policy Reminders:

Alcohol Policy: Open alcohol purchased off-site is not allowed on marina common grounds, including during concerts and events hosted by the marina. Members are permitted to consume their own alcohol purchased offsite on their boats or RV sites. Any open container on the marina common grounds must be purchased from the Dock House or our Beer Garden service during concerts. This policy is in place due to insurance requirements and the terms of our alcohol license.

Parking Policy:

No Parking on Grass: Please ensure that all vehicles are parked on designated paved or gravel areas. Parking on grass is prohibited to maintain the quality and appearance of our grounds.

Trailer and Jet Ski Parking: Trailers and Jet Skis are not allowed to be parked in RV sites. These must be parked in the designated parking lot.

Dock Storage Policy: We do not allow any items to be stored on the walkway or fingers of the dock. We can provide a Dock Box if you wish to store personal items at your slip. All items should be kept on your boat if you do not wish to have a Dock Box. Call the office for pricing and additional information.
